U Starčevu drugi EX-yu rock fest

U subotu, 26. juna, na stadionu FK Borca u Starčevu biće održan drugi Ex-yu rock fest. Na festivalu će nastupiti Elvis J. Kurtović, Orthodox Celts, Bajaga i Instruktori i Let 3. Koncert će biti održan i u slučaju kiše, jer će se do tada biti završena krovna konstrukcija na stadionu. Za ljubitelje fudbala obezbediće se i video-bim na kome će tokom koncerta moći da gledaju utakmice u slučaju da Srbija ostane na Svetskom prvenstvu. Ulaznica za festival košta 100 dinara, a organizatori su predvideli i dodatni autobuski prevoz iz Beograda za Starčevo.

Council for Security of the Town in Session

 

Council for Security of the Town was in session today because of the situation in Jabuka Village in the past few days. The Republic Deputy Ombudsman for minority rights Goran Basic and province ombudsman Eva Vukasinovic visited the village, prosecutor's office, police and town administration today.

 

Everything is Ready for Carnival

Everything s ready for the beginning of the Seventh Pancevo International Carnival, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 18th and 19th. There will be around 2 thousand participants, and the first guests have already arrived. Gusts from Malesia and Brasil will join well- known carnival groups. Carnival group from Brasil prepared the group mask in the spirit of World Football Cup.

Zbog nereda u Jabuci, koji su se događali prethodnih dana, danas zaseda Savet za bezbednost Pančeva.

Rasistički protesti u Jabuci moraju biti osudjeni, a gradjanima mora da se pošalje jasna poruka da su svi ovde zaštićeni, izjavo je danas u tom mestu državni sekretar u Ministarstvu za ljudska i manjinska prava Petar Antić. Posle razgovora sa gradonačelnicom Pančeva i razgovora sa Romima u Jabuci, on je ocenio da postoji potreba za zajedničkim radom gradske uprave iMionistarstva sa mladima narazvijanju medjunacionalne tolerancije.

Meeting of Government Officials and Police Because of Incidents in Jabuka


The Mayor Mrs Vesna Martinovic had meetings with Prosecutor Gordana Colic, chief of police Zvezdan Radojkovic, Dusko Jovanovic from Center for Roma Inclusion in Novi Sad and State Secretary from the Ministry for Human Rights Petar Antic, because of the number of racial related incidents in Jabuka Village. The situation is calm at the moment and police forces are on the field. The town continues to send food, supplies and medical help for members of Roma minority, who are afraid to leav their houses, Mrs Martinovic stated for Radio Pancevo.
